Want to learn simple accounts to balance sheet

Hi All

I have been in business for a long time yet I have never got the hang of accounts. That is my reason for being here. I want to be able to do my own accounts, present them to the tax man etc. Its not that the account is not worth every penny just that the only common factor in business in money and I want to understand it more.

I want to find a course or a coach to learn simple accounts to balance sheet. I have looked at accountancy courses. Its very difficult to know where to start in the learning curve. It has been many decades since I went to school and I did not bother with university.

That’s what I am here for. Any help or directions gratefully received

All the best
Mark
