Company not responding -
07-06-2008, 01:31 PM
Hi,
We recently purcahsed a kitchen from <Company A> for the rear of our shop. To cut a long story short the designer got the dimensions wrong and upon installation we found it wouldn't fit. I called <Company A> and spoke to the manager who refused point blank to do anything about it. I told him that it would cost £300 to modify the units and I wanted to be reimbursed this amount. I have sent two letters via recorded delivery requesting this amount and I have not received a reply. What should I do next? I am not in the nature of complaining unneccessarily but I feel the level sevice is poor and I should not have to pay this modification bill myself. Thanks in advance for your help. Fred. |

My advice would be to read the fine print of any contract(s) you have with them and seek the advice of a local solicitor... Although many people visit forums and mean well I wouldn't take legal advice of this nature from a forum...
I have also removed the name of the company from your post - it doesn't seem relevant to name the company and I would hate any comebacks for us! Hope you get it sorted out! Feel free to contact me with any website issues. |
