Unhappy
My wife had a CCJ form "Next" on line last october despite paying on time in April! She had proved payment on 20 occasions prior to the case by post, fax, pigeon to no avail. Eventually they found the payment in January and offered a paltry 100.00 compensation and withdrawal of the CCJ.
We spent weeks on this case and it has also cost dearly in lost credit facilities. Do we have a case for compensation?

Have you spoken to a lawyer? They would be better qualified to advise on this. I would personally calculate loss of earnings and a reasonable figure for distress and consider a private prosecution. If the figure is reasonable then it's quite likely this can be settled out of court.
