Hi,

I am a partner and 50% owner of a Ltd Company, the partnership hasn't worked and my partner (who is running the business day-to-day) is refusing to either buy me out or even meet with me.

I think the only option I have is to disolve the partnership, Is there a problem with doing this within a Ltd Company?

As we are jointly responsible for loans taken out to buy the business, I know it will cost me finaancially, but cannot see other way out.

Advice Please!!!

First of all it is not a partnership if it is a limited company. You would be a shareholder.

Best solution would be to negotiate with your associate but if as you indicate they will not then you may need either an accountant or solicitor to resolve the issues. Not cheap but basically you may need professional help from someone with access to every detail.
