Exclamation Divorce & Alienation of affection - 21-08-2007, 08:44 AM

Hi there to everyone, I am looking for some advice about "Alienation of Affection" law in the UK. About 9 months ago my wife started up a thing with a ex of hers, now this is the 2nd time she has done this to me in 4 years, needlees to say i have had my fair share. She has recently moved out of the house at her own accord. I have a women friend to which i have taken a real fancy to but out of respect nothing has happened between us, obviously for legal reasons as well. My wife now has thretend to sue her for "Alienation of Affection" and also does not want our kids to see her at all. My friend has 2 of her own children and is a really good mother that take alot oftime to spend with her kids and adores mine treats them like her own. So what can i do as this whole situation has got me really upset as i have not once challenged my wife shouted or even tried to "get even" i am just not intrested in a future life of arguments etc..
Well that is my situation many thanks

I'm not aware of any such law in the UK, The US does still have them in some states but the majority have abolished them. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alienation_of_affections
