Why would anyone want to visit your site? If all you have is a clone then there is no USP and no reason for the search engines to rank you above the other similar sites. In addition, they will be spending huge amounts of money on maintaining and promoting the site so unless you have very deep pockets to are unlikely to even get a single visitor.

In any case, you are not going to be able to clone unless you have access to the source files (which is very unlikely). Legal action against you is therefore not a problem as you are not going to be able to build the site in the first place.

thank`s for your reply my friend ....

i ment that i won`t make 100% copy from the similer website ..just i will make a clone from them and offer it in another language with editing in the idea (develope it ) and the name and the form ....

sure i won`t think to get more visitors than the similer website ....and what i want to know ... if they found me took some visitors who are speak the same language which i offer can they catch me in the legal way ????

anybody knows about examples ( cases ) like what i am talking about ?

Be careful!

A company called Winks london are being taken to Court by another company called Links of London for infringement of copyright property, logo and website.

It appears Winks London copied all but the "L" in Links of London's website ( a well known designer store/company) hence the threat of court proceedings.

Links of London has demanded Winks London change their site and logo and quite rightly so too.

It is far better to start from scratch using your own ideas.

It's not going to happen. You won't be able to clone the site without the source files (which are niuce and secure behind a firewall). I don't mean the HTML you see in your browser, I'm talking about thr PHP/ASP files used to create the HTML.

But just supposing you do clone their site and get indexed. Because gambling is such a huge investment, they employ all sorts of techniques to sniff out the competition and when they do find your site they will sue. One technique used is to search for code snippets; looking for duplicate code to the original site. It's easily done (along with many other sniffer tactics) so you won't be able to hide for long.
