Hi there,

Newbie here and have a quick question. I am owed money from a person / Ltd company who I supplied with goods. The debt is around £1200. The shop he was selling them in has recently closed. Having run credit searches on him, the company I have been invoicing was wound up in 2009.

With this the case is this fraud and does the debt lie with him? Should I report him to the HMRC / companies house.

Thanks in advance.

Ifther eis no company he is laible personally. If he claims he is representing a compnay that has been disolved he may have broken several laws including criminal offences

You should pursue him and report the matter as well.
