Hi,
Can Anyone Advise On The Following?
Last Year My Fathering Law And I Set Up A Small Business. He Was Looking For A New Venture So I Suggested That He Might Want To Try T-shirt Printing. It Was Something I Had Knowledge Of So He Offered Me The Oppportunity To Be A Partner. I Had No Money So The Plan Was He Would Put Up The Money In The First Instance To Set The Business Up (around £3000), And I Would Do The Majority Of The Work Then Pay Him My Half Back At A Later Date When The Business Had Taken Off. For 7 Months I Put All I Had Into Making The Business Work. Then We Had A Disagreement And I Was Told Not Go Back. We Had Not Put Anything In Writing As Far As The Partnership Was Concerned. As He Is My Father-in-law I See Him Quite Often Though We Do Not Speak. But Im Getting A Little Bit Sick Of Hearing How Well The Business Is Doing And That He Is Considering Selling Half To Someone Else.
I Just Want Know If I Have Any Rights To The Business Without Something In Writing. And If So What Should I Do?

Thanks In Advance For Any Advice Given
