Rental Obligations? -

If a tenant has been living in a property for 2 years, with full acknowledgement of the landlord, but they have not signed the contract they were given, and have not paid any rent for 18 months; is the tenant under any obligation to pay?

Yes, an assured shorthold tenancy is assumed to have been created in the absence of a contract to say otherwise.
