I have a problem with trading names. Someone that I worked with for a year, has gone independent and is now using a trading name aimed at being very similar to the one we used when working together. We worked as two sole traders. Not as a partnership.
I invented the trading name x y z say, (I do not want to use the name in a way discoverable by google), setup, created, managed, and bore all costs of the same name web site. It was agreed that the name was mine. To have maximum claim to the name I registered three limited companies, using all three combinations of the three word trading name. Despite advising my ex collaborator of the above they have started to advertise as zyx. Can I stop them? If so How? |

Where are you based (quite critical, that!)?
