tkessex is talking crap - must be an alcholoic man i guess - I am not blaming alcohol just stating the fact that it is a VERY dangerous legal DRUG (crazy world). Anyone who disagrees with me wants their head tested or another drink!

My son does not need 'sorting out' I think that fact that he has been reprimanded and the car to pay for is enough. He is 16 and EVERYONE makes mistakes. I am quite pleased to see he is normal and makes mistakes. I have had 16 years of 'what a lovely boy', ' how mature he is', 'isnt he polite' 'your so lucky' 'isnt he clever' blah blah. So in a sick sort of way its refreshing to think he can lose his rag IE normal, i actually smilled when the police called because it was so unusual! And before any prats say its normal to kick a car, i am talking about normal to make MISTAKES. Every child I know has a worse behavioual record than my son and some of them go to private school and are so called upper class.

I have spoken to the bouncer and he is fine about it and he has been paid the repairs by my son.

fisicx - He has a lot of money due to compensation he recieved when he was 10 - he had an accident at school and had a finger amputated. - schools fault. We went out as a family last night to play badminton and do each week - he doesn't have a tv in his room or games station.

I do take full responsibility as I knew he was at the club and drinking. The reason I let him is a very long story and not for this forum. Now he is home every night and the car has been repaired.

The club has now been closed down because half their punters were under 18and since this incident I went down and made sure they checked each youngish looking kid for id. Turned out they didnt have enough people to keep the club open!

I wont be asking for advice on here as there are obviously a lot of people who just like to write a load of crap and not interested in advising. I didn't need advice anyway there was a work related reason for posting this - so thanks for the replys.

Happy new year to you all.

If the morals behind the situation had been addressed in the first place, this thread wouldn't exist!

This is in the legal section and the advice was asked for. If the poster wanter abuse or family advice then i am pretty sure she would have asked for it.

Well she got it anyway. A post of this nature will always create heated debate and arguments, so perhaps open forum was not the best way for her to go about it. She could have asked the question and done the rest by PM.
And yes this is the legal section, but the last time I looked this was a business forum.

And making this statement:

moves the discussion away from the legal argument as does:

which begins the moral discussion. Is cazamic suggesting that the boy should abstain from having a girlfriend?
