Another thought came to mind.

I remember receiving through my door a professional looking piece of coloured paper from my local tree surgeon.

Never heard of him before but our neighbours also needed some fencing doing so we both contacted him and we had a tree lopped.

Easy work - great guy - great marketing

Simple if you know how I suppose

Any other ideas anyone ?

yes, this is easy and cheap marketing.

I hardly ever see people going door to door with their own marketing material.

An opportunity missed I think

I know - I totally agree. It's weird because this is really effective and it doesnt cost anything at all really. Just print off from your PC and away you go !

Help People Take Action On Your Offers Like This - - 16-08-2004, 07:37 AM

Hi Carol,

This is especially good for products & services used in homes. If it’s something related to cars, I’d advise giving marketing messages to drivers who are in or near their vehicles.

There’s too much chance, actually probability, people will put something aside if they’re interested in it. They’ll discard or not accept what they don’t want. But even the most interested prospect is too busy, distracted & stressed to remember something not pertaining to their current situation.

If they can’t take almost immediate action on it, they may not ever take action on it. Then it’s not just the business owner & staff who are out of luck. The prospect is too. Something in his/her life either isn’t fully resolved or not solved at all.

If what we offer really is important to people, we should do what we can to help solve their problems.

I prefer delivering messages closest to point of decision. I have more details in the report at this URL - [deleted for now]
For some reason, this URL is being truncated, if necessary, you can add this - - Faster-Results.html – to the URL in my sig file below.

Marketing strategies and tactics are long-term issues, but you shouldn't have to wait long for sales.
