Another Marketing Strategy.

Article directories are a great way to get a business recognized. A business owner who seems informed about their business and their customers will get a boost in sales. People like to buy from someone who knows what they are doing. Writing articles lets customers know the business owner is doing more than selling a product, they are selling a product they understand and believe in.

I think the most easy way to get free traffic on your website is to submit your own written articles on different websites. Visitors daily read new articles and are happy to visit author's website. I do the same and i am getting much better traffic than any other promotional method.

You can submit your written articles in the link below:

Hope to help anyone..

Sorry this might be part of an online strategy but how many buyers read articles on the net in sites like yours?

Yes articles can help with SEO but to say people read them who will buy your product is missleading.

I think it can be quite a good online strategy actually. One of the things it helps with is links to your site...

I don't know how many people actually read the articles, but I do think it helps with site traffic, particularly targeted site traffic.

Quite a few forum moderators will see the site as this post plus even lengthier versions are appearing all over the place. "Someone" even registered at an AV Forum where I moderate to post the same bit of chopped ham and pork

Sorry

We work with Europe’s leading SEO company and based on what they have said plus other web forums will need to agree to disagree.

Yes it helps with links, but as for people reading your blogs I do not believe it will generate leads. Thousands are put up every minute I would love to know why they would read yours and not the other billions out there?

Either way good luck and business is about trying new things to see if they work and hence please don't let me put you off.

Good luck

Hmmm, didn't realize we were talking about blogs? I thought we were discussing publishing articles in ezines...no?

And I would have to respectfully disagree Bizal. Possibly it depends where you're publishing as to whether or not your article is being read by your target market. I still think publishing articles on ezine sites is a good way to market your business. Plus, it's free...

I wish you good luck with it. However no promotion is free. You still need to write the article and try to get it published in someone else’s ezine. This takes time and hence costs money. So sorry we will even need to disagree on that point as well

Also in the last 2.5 years I have never seen it as a successful lead generation strategy. In fact I have never seen it even get close to being an effective method.

This does not mean it will not work but I certainly would not have this as my main for of lead generation or be in a situation where I needed it to work.

Why don’t you run a basic pole on here and ask

1: how many people get ezine's i.e. they have 3rd party content not just news about the company that sent it
2: how many people read them
3: how many people have contact a company because of them?

As I said , good luck and maybe you will be the first that we know off to do this successfully.

Bizal,

Admittedly, writing and submitting articles does take time; however, all marketing strategies take time, and most cost money too.

What kind of marketing does your company use? How successful is it?

To answer your questions:
1. I don't know how many people "get" ezines and I'm not sure that matters. But, if someone runs a search for keywords in the article, the article should show up if you've used the right ezine to publish in.

2. As with most communication, people don't necessarily read them -- but they probably scan them, and if you've used an ezine that allows contact info (and you shouldn't waste your time with one that doesn't)

3. It's something I've only started a few months ago, and I only have 8 articles published at this point. But, my stat counter says it IS getting me contacts, and as my article count grows, I suspect my contact list should grow.
