Kevin,

Not such an easy question because there are so many questions one could ask!
Website promotion is an obvious step. I have no experience with things such as search engine ranking but this might be something someone else here could comment on. Basically, hire a small company to rework your site to bring you higher in the search engine rankings.
Have you considered advertising in magazines who supply the craft industry in the UK? Again I am presuming your target is only the UK... would you look to the US as well?
I have a limited amount of experience of Direct Mail being used to promote Chinese industry where a company selling small wheels asked my company to handle a mailing to engineering companies in the UK. In this case it was not sucessfull, in my opinion due to the product and the market they were trying to approach. A small company selling promotional items in the UK and US faired better with Direct Mail as they were selling a soft Frisbie (throwing disk) which was screen printed. Given this was a more generic product and we were asked to source a list of companies to mail samples to it worked very well.
If you have looked at the web site ranking issue then I would look to either magazine advertizing (to magazines supplying craft stores) or to a very limited mailing of sample materials to the leading craft supply companies. My advice would be to keep a mailshot very small to only hit the people who have the power to buy your types of products. Perhaps 500 pieces in the UK and 1500 or so to the US.
All of this presupposes that your product is new or that it is as good as existing products but less expensive. Remember if you do a mailshot to provide a small but representitive sample and to quote lead times, minimum quantities and unit prices. These can be quoted FOB but it will often confuse buyers if they have to handle shipping and duty (and VAT in the UK). Look for a method to offer actual pricing to the end user in reasonably large lots and, product acceptance being a given, you should be able to drum up some interest.

Hope it helps.... Sorry for the novel!

Hi

You have some stunning products on your website, but without prices or a clear way to buy, what the rules are for buying, i couldn't see any login, or joining link. People visiting your site, need to find out how much, and how to buy, quickly or you will lose them.

I would suggest getting your website some serious SEO work done on it.
At the same time, get some prices up, and make it very obvious how to buy.

Without an obvious way to buy your products, it would be a mistake to optimise your website, since them people will get to know your site as "that place that has the nice stuff and no way to buy it" and not return to your site.

About SEO if you are looking at doing it yourself, do a search in google there are about 14 million results for how do I seo my website

All the best.
