Best strategy - customer data - 28-02-2005, 03:14 PM

Hi,

I've a handyman business doing home repairs. However I would like to collect customer info for a customer database. What would be the best strategy to use, considering that some or most of the visits will be when the homeowners are not at home. We are more likely to find only the maids who may not have much info.

Thanks in advance,

I think you have 2 issues

1: How to collect the information - well you know the address and I am sure you can collect the decision makers name - or look it up somewhere

2: Privacy/ data protection - search for data protection on google - any information you hold in an electronic form has certain rules attached to it (ie: you cant store personal information without the owners consent)
