business leads - 01-08-2008, 05:58 PM

i currently work from the uk using US consumer and business leads as well as opt-in email addresses. I have to say without them i wouldn't be making half the profit i am now. I mail shot, email shot an cold call all from my desk here in kent.

how many of you have used business and consumer leads in the past? is anybody interested in using business leads and demographic data to blast thier sales through the roof?

also, does anybody here work with UK leads?

What do you mean by "leads" in this context? Every sales person has leads. It's where a sale starts.

I use a couple of British companies for leads, these are "customers" who are looking for products that sell.

By leads I think he means lists of prospects, such as a geographically ordered list of company names with e-mail addresses and names of decision makers. You can buy such things from a variety of places. A quick search online will help.

And yes, I have used such things in the past and have had success with UK lists. You've got to be a bit more intelligent in your approach with UK customers than US customers (and that's not meant to be patronising, it's just that UK business owners are less approachable than their US counterparts).
