Calling and Appointment Making

I was wondering if anyone had any sites, resources or tips on helping me to improve my sales pitch etc mainly through calling up people and making appointments for sales people!

What product/service are you trying to sell? Which business sector? Are you using any other forms of contact i.e. do you use direct mail prior to your call?

You need to know who you are going to talk to.
Then send them a mailshot with a "handwritten envelope"
addressed to the person you want to talk to & then call them
a few days later.

I've heard this method is far better than an untargetted
mailshots/calls.

You could follow Marks plan or prospect profile and act as required / sell a business bennifit.

Marks idea is great but untargeted and takes to much time.
