Question Car Art
14-08-2007, 10:03 PM

Hi all!
Im very new to this forum and was wondering if anyone knew of any cheap or free ways that we could market the business. Cash is limited just now so we are trying to promote through websites such as bebo and youtube.

We produce and sell car caricatures printed on to paper, mugs, t-shirts, bibs etc from the web site. So far we have done well but there is more out there for the business and i think that a little more marketing will give us the boost that we need.

I am also wondering how i can get in to the supermarkets to use them to sell the product

Any help would be seriously appreciated!

Thank you!!

Try approaching the thousands of car clubs and forums on the internet. I belong to about 6 myself!

You must approach them carefully, do not spam the forums. Approach the people who run the sites and ask about advertising and best to offer a discount or special offer, this will help.

Good luck

Another off line opportunity could be targeting car shows and other automobile gatherings. Showing up at auto expo's would really be exposing your target marketing to your service.

contact all your previous customers and offer them 10% off in your current sale
then contact them again a few weeks later and offer them 10% off in your current sale
then contact them and give them 10 vouchers for anyone they know to get 10% off their first order

(I'll take 20% commission for that idea please )

Hi Nikki,

Have you thought about targeting small craft shops to begin with? It could be better for you to get a foot in the door with small business' then move onto Supermarkets. Craft days and markets could also be an option for you.

Have you thought about e-flyers? They are cost effective, creative and informative. Plus you could send them to 1000s people.

I hope this helps your brand.

Before you use all the good tips you've been given, How about building your own website so that you will be able to refer your customers to all the product you're selling?
