Hi all,

I'm looking into a mail order / retail Ice Hockey equipment business.

Looking for a stand out, catch name:

What could you come up with.

Gone already:

Hockey Shop
Ice 'N'Easy

Please get em' coming in, all names, ideas welcome!

Have to confess that "Puck Off" immediately sprang to mind. Possibly not what youre looking for though.

Regards

when you say "already gone" are you talking about business names or domain names?

As an aside, only yesterday I drove past the new Ice Rink in Altrincham (new home for Manchester Team) and there was a shop unit to let next door (think it might have been let actually) and I said to the Mrs, that would have been ideal for ice related stuff! Sorry if you are bored now, I was by the time I finished typing!

Pucks Away?

I think it has to involve the word 'puck' as this word is only related to ice hockey and easily tells potential customers something about your business.

The second part of the name would ideally go with puck and at the same time show that you are a retailer.

Puck Stop is the best one so far I think.

We have won several injury claims for fans and spectators hit by ice hockey pucks, so if you know anyone who wants to make a claim for this, please give them our details!

IceMan,

Did you ever get this off the ground in the end? Did you sort out those supplier issues? Just curious.

What's in a name? Wouldn't a rose, by any other name, still smell as sweet?

idk man, i wish i had some business naming knowledge.

My suggestion is name it after yourself; IceMan Supplies (IMS mailorder) (IMSmailorder.com) etc.
