Ever had to SELL to your vendor? - 25-06-2008, 02:26 PM

We all do it. Selling simply does not stop at selling to our customer. We have to sell our organization as a great workplace to our employees. Sell our company as a great customer to our vendors and sell our firm as a financially viable client to our banks.

Ever wonder who is selling to you? If what I say above is true then there are customers who want YOU as a supplier. These prospects are trying to sell their companies to you as great sourcers.

How about a few ideas on where to find these blokes? Anyone up for the challenge?

You make a good point. There can be customers for what you do throughout your whole network of contacts, even those that you see as suppliers.

We put WeCanDo.BIZ together with the idea of bringing all your business contacts into one place with a mechanism where they can share with you their most urgent business need. This is a great way of seeing who needs what you supply across you whole base - including those companies that don't see you as a supplier.

If you find you can't help with your networks needs, you have the option of handing that lead over to someone else in your network and earning a favour back.

Over the years I have collected a lot of business cards and e-mail addresses and many of those people are buying all of the time. Unless they have a great filing system or an even better memory, how are they to remember I could help? We think our site helps out.

I'd be interested in feedback.
