FREE Advert better than Newpapers

Maybe we should all do what Boots PR did>> Boots got loads of FREE advertisements this last week on BBC TV (Who says the beeb don't have ads)?? they got more sales from the BBC than they would have got from £10,000 spent on adverts in the papers.
It seems very wrong to me that the BBC get away with such blatant adverts, while asking us Tax Payers for £200 per year to put our own television set on to watch rubbish they transmit to our homes.

For those of us not in the know, could you extrapolate on this? In what way did Boots get advertising!?

advertising is too expensive, we do export from China, and will spend much money on this.
