Free press release posting service -

Although this is a US-based site, you can post your press releases free of charge at www.prweb.com.
If you only do it for one reason, do it because it will add one more link to your website, which search engines such as Google will trace. The more links to your site, the higher up the rankings you are likely to go.

Yes - this is good - Free PR - you can pay a "donation" and get your press release up the list for that day.
As you say you also get a link but this slowly disappears as the press releases get archived.

I'm going to give it a whirl. It's something I have not tried as yet but I understand the value of such a service if the PR gets picked up
