getting demographic data -
09-03-2005, 09:00 AM
Hi all
I'm starting a computer repair business and want to do a leaflet drop. I can use acorn profiles (www.caci.co.uk) to lookup a postcode which tells me roughly how high the PC and internet usage is in that area - it's a very handy service. I'd like to target areas with high levels of PC & internet usage but does anyone know how I'd get a list of postcodes for such areas? There must be software/database which lets me run a query like 'give me all acorn category X postcodes within Y miles of liverpool' ... ? any help appreciated dave |

Hi
Would you be interested in a combined solution with another company who sells PC's online then? Re your question though. We have not found an accurate version of this either online or off line. Royal Mail are very helpful and is the closest we have found to getting a positive result. PS they charge about £45.00 per thousand (less for higher volume) and hence are the cheapest way of getting these delivered. |
