Local Papers

Hi,

I get my sales guys to call up all the people advertising in the local free paper to get a few sales on various products and the conversion rate is good.

Does anyone know how i could get every single local paper for the whole country delivered to my offices on a weekly/monthly basis? Im sure there must be researchers out there that have to traul through local press for various reasons but im not sure how to do it myself.

BRAD provides a list of every mag and paper in the UK. Top Tip it costs a small fortune so go to your local Library and photo copy!

Yeah £1,000 is pretty pricy but it could be worth it if the system is good. Have you ever had a go of it yourself?

Yes BRAD is vital for any PR, advertising campaign.

We use it about 2-3 times per month and photo copy pages and then scan them and put them with the clients file on server.

Bases on the number of local papers I would use brad and then call them to get a few copy’s. To call all the adds in all the papers you would need a team in the 1,000's of telesales people.

I talked to the people at brad but they just hold a list of advertisers in the country, i need a way of getting all people buying local advertising not providing it.
