Marketing Ideas? Or a advertising forum

I've just joined today and already had some great feedback and help. This is a great website for people like me with so many questions.

Just one thing about this area - is it for Marketing Ideas or a place for someone to register, post an advert for their company, then never come back?

Spammers tend to post in the first forum -- but some post 3 or 4 times all over

There is an offers and requests forum (4th one down?) for people to post great offers to forum members (and a lot do...)

You should have strict guidelines on registering. It's a shame you're being used for an advertising board rather than a business board.

Hey, only this weekend (2) new marketing tools found their way into my life and I want you to check them out for yourself. The first is advertising through the register tape received at your local grocery store. The reverse side of the tape is used by vendors to advertise their businesses. These are seen by everyone that receives the tape at check-out. Individuals pay on a monthly basis with a six month committment. This price includes 150,000 ads placed at your choice of targeted grocery stores. SUPER IDEA!

The second marketing ad with be placed in a #1 location in our county that everyone frequents for lunches and dinner. They have a railroad train that runs on a track around the entire restrauant slowly every 20-30 minutes. Local business owners bring their business cards to the advertising rep and they design your ad and add it to one of the cars. The price is $25.60 monthly and if you commit to 4 months you get 2 months FREE. Tremendous exposure for a small investment. These may not be an answer for you but their worth the thought of unique advertising.
