Glen, you should be able to offer something that is very unique to your niche - something that the other sites haven't thought of yet

That will help a lot in the process of getting new sign-ups.

Thanks for that MrCat.

I think to honest i should focus on one geographical location when promoting the product, and then rolling it out.

Some times its easy to scatter gun the advertising, instead of focus on one particular location.

Thanks for the input.

Regards
Glenn

Glenn does this internet radio statios have any sort of focus at all? A specific music type or something? If you are so dependent on them for promotion (that is not necessaryily a bad thing) then you should make what you do fit eaxctly with them, for now at least. To me it would be crazy to be using a brand known for something and then chasing a different audience, as you aren't getting leveraging from that support.

The thing with internet radio stations is they are global by default, so leaping into bed with them and then localising would seem a bit acock.

Just my 2p worth of course.

Best regards

IH

Very much appreciate the comments, the music is adult comtemporary, kylie, robin williams and so on.

When i first start outed, i talked to the head radio buyer of a large advertising agency. He told me the type of music advertisers are interested in advertising on, the age group and so on.

When it comes to locality, it will only people in the UK, you cant listen to the music until registered and log in. Because of the licensing and advertisers, will restrict it to people in the UK, i know you can stop people from outside the UK from listening.

I take criticism on the chin, and listen to very thing have to say good or bad, i dont pretend to know everything, and appreciate people's comments.

Glenn

Interesting. Just the sort of demographic every other dating website is aimed at unfortunately. So I wonder whether there is something more innovative you could do to interest that market. I've got my thinking hat on... ;-)

Ok Glenn,
This is what I think.... so here you go....
The comments people are given are really eye opening- it is good as one who is starting up to look into the possibilities and the impossibilites. After you have done your homework that is to say your detail research and you are aware of all the challenges, you are better prepared and more realistic.
