Newsletters -

I just wondered how many people do regular newsletters and if so, how often. Also what can you recommend as the best programme. I tend to do one a month at present and I think they are great for reminding people to visit your site!

I'm a big fan of newsletters :-)
We send a monthly newsletter for our website design/PR firm, and a weekly one for our other business, which is an agency for copywriters/other freelancers. The monthly one is done in html, the weekly one is text-only to cut down one the work involved in producing it. We don't use any specific software - it's coded by hand and we have a script we use to distribute it. I agree that they're a great way to remind people that you're there, and to build your brand!
