Our Slogan Needs You!

Im new to the Forums, so.. hello!

Im starting a start up company with a few others and we're split on the slogan so if you could help that would be great.

The company will offer Marketing Services to small businesses UK wide; heres the two choices..

1) Growing your business through marketing

2) Taking your marketing to the next level

If you could let me know your preferred and why, plus and changes / improvements id be very grateful.

I find both of these to be too descriptive. 1 is better than 2, though. To me, a tag line should be a bit more inspirational, such as, "Big ideas for Small Business", "Profit through Marketing", "Marketing that means Business".

Just curious, what kind of Marketing are you offering? It's a broad topic, after all.

I prefer the second one, because I think that using the word "growing" transitively, of a business, might put a few people off. Clearly you can grow flowers, or vegetables, but with a business it might be a little more idiomatically correct to make it grow rather than to "grow it"; I just think it reads a little clumsily. Mind you, quite a lot of advertising does, and it's pretty difficult to prove that that's actually costing anyone anything!
