Sandwich bag promotions

[National Office Week]

Afternoon all,

Our National Office Week campaign is building momentum and we have just this week launched a sandwich bag campaign in central London to raise awareness for the campaign and build up some awareness with our target audience.

Has anyone else done a promotion like this before? Did it drum up any business? Overall how effective was it?

It would be interesting to hear peoples ideas or experiences.

What do you mean by a sandwich bag promotion ?

Approaching our campaign we have had our campaign brand printed on several thousand sandwich bags and distributed throughout parts of London.

This aims to get the word out to office workers who buy their lunch and take it back to their desk to eat, as most city workers do nowadays.

The sandwich bags are used as makeshift plates in the hope they will read about national office week and go to our website.

It's a novel idea and I wondered if anyone had had any personal experience of this form of marketing.
