Eagle is right, a logo is like an icon, it needs to convey the message in its simplest form.

Try taking parts of it away and see if it still says the same thing.

Eventually you will be left with a clean, clear and stylish logo which still says "Pool and snooker supplies" and yet conveys style, reliablity, professionalism.

There are alot of ideas all crowding each other making the message seem confused which could do more damage than good.

I do agree with all the bits about image and trust but can I be a bit contrarian here and ask if the customer will really care if you have a logo on your van?

Perhaps if you put a good reason for the customer to call you next to your phone number on the back of the van the phone might ring more often.

Cheers

Pete

Just a polite heads-up, you have a spelling error, a superfluous 't' in the word 'equipment' in your page title.

I am constantly amazed at the number of new clients I meet who tell me they have seen our company van on the road. I can't say I have had a sale because of it as far as I know but it has raised our profile... We're B2B.

Hi Justin, Sorry for the delay in responding, but I have been to busy to visit the forum for a while. Your logo isn't awful - but if you look around at the most successful companies, the simplest logo's usually have a better impact.

You know, you can go to a site like www.elance.com and find someone to create a logo for you very cheaply.

Now i will try to add a pic of one of my vans as requested, but I don't know how well it will come out, and I've never inserted a pic in a message before so bear with me if it goes wrong! The logo looks a bit wobbly compared to real life but I'm not a great photographer. On the side of the van, and the back, I have more or less the same and also have the company address on the door. No pics though.

You tend to get what you pay for, make sure you have a clear idea of the image your trying to get out there.

But take advice - look at what your competitors are doing - is there anything out there that catches your eye - from any type of business
