Use Testimonials on your website

I have found a great marketing idea is to have current customer testimonials. I know many people already do this but I am also aware of several companies that make up this feedback, I do not mean anyone here.

If you look at my feedback [url]http://www.mkprinting.co.uk/testimonials.cfm[url] and you will see that they are added regularly and that for each testimonial there is a link to the clients website. This means people are able to contact previous clients to make sure that we are as good as we say we are.

My testimonials page is the highest view page after the index! If you have the time and money, make video testimonials or voice recorded ones.

Just a few ideas for you there.

I notice a lot of networking groups are using testmonials now as well. LinkedIn for example has them. I assume they must be of value because people ask me for them. But they ae often a bit like reciprocal links - I'll give you a testimonial if you give me one. This surely undermines the testimonial idea.

What I do to get mine is, I e-mail or call every customer once their goods have arrived and ask them for feedback. I never ask them to say nice things I just want to get an idea of how they view our service and products.

Thankfully I have never not posted an e-mail from a clint as of yet. If you believe in your products and service then you should always get good feedback. I also e-mail my clients once a month to inform them of any offers, products they are looking for that we currently don't stock and if there is anything they don't like or want to change on our website.

Your clients are the people that pay your wages so you have to have a good understanding of what theor businesses need and also how you can keep them a customer for a long period of time.

Good example. If everyone is doing this, then they know the real value of them and only newcomers believe them to be something they are not. It just raises the bar on the things you need to do to establish trust.
