Hi Hitman

and welcome to our forums

I had a quick look at your website - very nice design - because if you're a website designer your site needs to be A1

However, it took a while to load (and I have ADSL) and some of the links were broken so you may want to fix those first.

Do you have any ones site you have worked on at all ? If not, you might want to design a few for free (those that receive large volumes of hits) then put a footer on each page such as "designed by..." and link back to your site.

This does 2 things. 1) highlights who undertook the wonderful design and 2) builds links to your site to improve your search engine rankings

A lot of people are in webdesign so it may be tough. Target your local area first as well. Do a search for google for towns/ cities where you live and see what pops up - then get in contact with those companies and offer them either 50% off or a freebie and then add your links

Let us know how you get on

Hi,

You could always write some relevant informational articles containing your URL & distribute them on the various article databases over the Net...especially the ones that promote their article database as free content for ezine publishers and the likes. It's a good way to expose your url to thousands of people in your target market.

There are many other free ways to publicise your company...you just need to know where to look >>>

Hi free-pub

I thought you'd make it over here after business-talk

you're most welcome

Perhaps you can send me your free-pub CD and I can review it for you ?

Do you have a list of where to post these expert articles to ?

Hi Peter,

Sure, I can send you the CD to review. A good place to start to find web article databases (believe it or not) is http://www.bellaonline.com/articles/art12838.asp

There's a list of 50+ on there.
