Yellow pages - 14-02-2005, 02:51 PM

Yellow pages (IMO) is in general a bit of a rip-off - they have managed (through time) to become one of those publications in which a lot of companies feel they *have* to advertise.

As far as their charges go to include a URL - I think this sucks, basically.

Are we not at the point (or very near to) when your URL is as important as your phone number (especially for B2B companies). I suppose that it just comes down to YP needing to make more money from what is really only a directory.

In regard to Thompson local - I never use them (possibly due to the fact that I find their recent ad campaign a turn-off.

I would firstly just type in "mobile DJ" in the browser line and see what comes up.

Then, I would also look in the Yellow Pages, then Thompson local!

I've never used one, but Yellow Pages would be my first thought, though if someone had recommended a service personally, I would go with that every time.
