I'd agree with James on this one. I'm currently busy doing the rounds letting people know that i've created a new concept of pixel advertising - with interactivity.

It's taken me 2 months to devlop the site from scratch and it's the only one out on the web.

It's proving very successful which just goes to show that there's life in these little ads yet - you just have ot be creative enough to tap into the concept and do something truly original and unique. If you're the first you wil achieve success (it just depends how much).

Yes, it is a fad. But over time it will become more refined, for now whilst people are still experimenting - there's a market and advertisers can secure a good return on sites that manage to grab peoples attention.

Kind regards,

James

I dont see the big fuss over this pixel advertising. I thinks that its a very bad advertising program for smaller companies. What i mean is that you have to buy atleas, what, 100 pixels i think it is...1 pixel costs £1. Even so, you buy ok 400 pixels, costing you 400 pounds. And exaclty, how much information can you put in 400 pixels? this is roughtly the size of 400 x:

Can you put anything at all?

And think of what advertising campaign you can put on google with that sum, or even Yellow Pages...
