Does DMOZ still give weight to Google?

Some sat yes more say no but Google directory still lists DMOZ as its sorce?

Unfortunately DMOZ is still very difficult to get listed on due to a variety of reasons including a huge shortage of editors.

If your category is looked after by an active editor you could be listed within a few days if the editor approves your site but if there is no editor you could wait indefinately.
