Free Search Engine Submission is trustable? - 22-03-2008, 03:00 AM

Hi.. I am a newbie in Search Engine,
please share some advice on whether those "Free Search Engine Submission" service is trustable?

They do really helps people to do free submission?
And, those auto-submission might potentially rejected by some of the Search Engine?

Thanks you very much.

They are a waste of time and effort. Almost anything that is free will give you zero advantage.

In any case, none of the major search engines will accept automated submissions. And if your site is already indexed by google, yahoo or live then there is not point in submitting the site to those search engines.

Yes I agree with fisicx. You are better off writing on a blog with a link to your site and write an article and post around. As long as the blog is indexed and you add a link to your site you will soon get listed.

This is true. There are only 3 search engines that drive traffic and the smaller ones use the majors to lists sites.

Best to go off and get links to your websites and the major SEs will find and rank your accordingly

As the others have said don't bother with those search engine submission services. To get into Google, MSN and Yahoo! you just need one link from another website to yours. At best those submission services will do nothing, but at worst they'll damage your site in the eyes of the main search engines.

You are not going to get anywhere with free submissions.
I would recommend concentrating on the major search engines only.

It doesn't hurt to submit to the smaller search engines... it certainly should not take up the whole of your marketing strategy... but smaller engines do refer people to websites... however little it may be it still counts...

Submitting your sites to the major search engines is not a requirement... but doing it once can't hurt... and submitting to MSN as a general rule can;t hurt either as that search engine can be real slow to come around to your site...

It depends on what you want help with?

Getting your website listed in the search engines - that's easy, just get INBOUND links from other website's and the search engine's will find you soon enough...

Getting your website listed at THE TOP OF THE SEARCH RESULTS - that is a lot lot harder... Do not believe or trust anyone who says that they can get you to the top of the search engines if you part with cash
