Yep, your site does very well in Google! Congratulations. And I think if I ran a financial site, I'd be terrified of Adwords as it's so pricey. But for retail product-driven sites Adwords works really well....across all of our retail sites we have hundreds of different products, and we'll never be able to get top rankings for all of these individual products so Adwords allows us to target very specific things, whilst trying to obtain decent positions for more general terms over time.
As for sites like Kelkoo and stuff like that - I'd like to see them weeded out of Adwords and Froogle too - and the ebay affiliate stuff too...I think sometimes Google would rather have a penny from several affiliates for their adwords than to reward a genuine advertiser for having total relevancy to the search term and having done the hard work by showing them in top adwords position and on their own. Whether people actually click on ebay affiliate ads or not, I still think it dilutes the value having them there.

p.s. it'd be interesting to know of any success stories (or otherwise) from people who use kelkoo or edirectory or any others....
