Googlebot visiting every day?

Googlebot and Msnbot are coming onto my site every day around 8AM! Is this a good sign?

It's a very good sign as search engines like fresh content and they seem to think that your site will provide that.

We are also getting regular visits from Google and Yahoo, but I have to say we haven't seen a dramatic increase in traffic just yet.

Keeping the bot up to date is important, but the biggest thing is increasing your ranking, which takes a solid effort to generate backlinks. We are launching a campaign at the moment to do just that.

If anyone is interested, we will exchange links with non-competitors.
