Hi Christopher,

What SEO books have you read. Which SEO forums have you subscribed to? Which SEO blogs do you follow?

Do you know the difference between SEO and SEM? Do you know the aim of SEO?

Start doing some research and then ask questions if you don't understand. I'd reckon on 2-3 hours reading every day for a couple of months and you should be pretty much up to speed with current SEO/SEM theory.

Effective Web Design - It's not that difficult if you follow the rules.

Thats true, use forums like these and others on seo, and you will get a feel for it. two factors to look at:
On page and off page optimisation
On page, your site pages- how to optimise
off page - essentially link building

read, learn and try it out, simple as that

hi chris, seo can be a touchy subject because search engines don't like to think that their results can be dramatically influenced by marketeers.

Hi,

You can learn a lot by searching the terms first and find a site that will provide you with the answers you want. So that in a way you can have an idea of what you're looking for.
