Dofollow sites can give you high ranks in Google if you do it correctly. You should place the keywords as anchor text for your link to give it a relevant weight. For nofollow links, it can be beneficial to Bing and Yahoo as they want quantity of links rather than quality.

ok, so I have always thought that link building has been the quickest way to get your site ranked higher in the search engines. As long as your on page optimisation is good and better than your competotors. If you leave comment s on a blog which is relevent to your topic then wouldn't this do you good ???

I have installed the firefox addon and it has been a big help in finding pages which are DOfollow, I agree that it saves alot of time.

NO! And it hasn't been for a long time.

There is a golden rule you need to remember: the easier a link is to get, the lower the value of that link.

A blog comment scores just about zero.

You can use firefox and plug in "no dofollow", it is a tool could check the links is no follow or do follow.

You have to search it manually and look fior the value assigned to rel attribute.
