I think at last look, there was 92,500 results

you said

but we'll say no more about it.
and then prompted to say lots more about it...

MLM is just another name for pyramid selling.

I have said look for something more genuine and you respond by saying -
Quote:
In June 2006 7.6 million people visited the online games sector ( 28% of the UK population ) the average time playing those games was 1.5 hrs.

I think thats a genuine enough market to be in.
If this was a correct assertion in response then for every MLM scheme you could say it was genuine due to the genre.

ie the paypal scheme to donate £3 to 5 people (chain email) is genuine because everyone has £3 and thats a genuine market to tap into.

There are so many online games and huge companies spend huge amounts of money promoting them, the fact that a MLM company is trying to make some money out of it is not suprising. But i doubt they will ever compete with the millions that these companies put into their games and gameplay to make it attractive.

The time and effort that you will put into this will ultimately be wasted. You will be nothing more than a sales person - but a virtually unpaid one.

If you have all this time and energy on your hands - why not try setting up a website that offers real value, will make you money and is also sellable ?

The test to see if you are ' in business' is whether or not you are building up something that you own and one day you can sell on.

Thats almost 1 in 3. Dodgy stats for PR purposes me thinks.

I work with the internet probably 12 hours every day and associate with a group of maybe 30-ish people that I see each week through work or socially and only 1 of those uses the online games sector.

I don't deny that online gaming is big and is going to get even bigger but it sounds like a scam to me and all the best things in this business sector travel by word of mouth not search engines.

Why don't you read the 16 page report off the website, BEFORE commenting.

It tells you where the info comes from, you'll probably know better than me whether it's a reliable source.

Funnily enough there's a section on there about the amount of people who play games whilst at work.

You're right about the market growing VERY quickly, it's predicted to be worth $13 billion by 2011.

In reply to one comment, the company has spent two and a half years and a lot of money developing it's OWN games. So not licensed from any other company.

And you are RIGHT!

Word of mouth is the best way, but that's what Network Marketing is.

I've just checked Alexa and evolutioniscoming.com/bettawin is ranked 613th in the UK search engines and 2,857 in USA.

Check yourself.

Not bad for a simple introduction website thats been going less than a month !

I haven't been as successful as others, but even I have over 75 people signed up already.

I know others in the hundreds, even more probably. And these are people from all over the world. It's a british company but most of the traffic 27% is from USA.

So sorry guys, it ain't a scam.

The business won't be FULLY running until Oct, but we'll see what happens on the 16th when the first stage is up.

With the line of business your in Yorganic, it probably wouldn't do you any harm getting involved with the people doing this.

Once the network is up and running ( using Skype ) a lot of these guys will be easily contactable.

I also know a lot of the big hitters are heavily using email marketing and a lot of your other wares and fares.

To quote Alexa as an indication of a website's popularity is v.deceptive. Alexa only gets stats from people who have their tool bar in their browser and so not indicative of anything.

No one needs to read a "privileged Insider Report" to know that this is a MLM/Pryamid scheme in which it will pledge you can make thousands a month with very little effort.

You need to question as to why this scheme - that is going to be so successful has to market itself like this. If i had the idea of something that was going to be 'the next big thing' I would certainly keep it to myself and and ensure that I kept all of the profits.

You say that the company has spent two and a half years developing its own games - great - but they are at pains to state that they are just 'casual games' 'family entertainment' type games. So i really cant imagine a huge pool of people playing online snap together. These games will not be sophisicated in anyway. Worldwide gaming regulation are very strict - and so it wont be a case where ' pay to enter a game and win prizes' So the money will just be mainly generated via the MLM scheme.

You are a mug to think you will make any money from this. Put your time and efforts into something more tangible.

Don't realy want to get into the scam/MLM/pyramid arguement but this sort of enterprise pops up all the time.

Every single scheme promises to be the next big thing and asks you to sign up and promote like mad with the result that you have a pyramid of resellers. When the product hits the streets it turns out to be notjing special - nothing that can't be found in a thousand other places. The number of paying visitors dwindles away and it's only by reselling that you continue to make money.

I do not doubt your belief in the product but since you don't actually know what it is how do you know that it is going to be popular?

Squalid hit the nail on the head: if the idea is so good why aren't they keeping all the profit to themselves.

Pre-launch day came and went yesterday and i forgot to register. How was the rush to join ?

Pre-launch day is hyped up day-occurs before launch day. Not sure of the differnce between prelaunch day and launch day, but I guess its something to do with the fees. On launch day you will be able to pay a mere £199 to join and £65 per month licence.

Please say you arent seriously going to pay that ?

Except it is now uVme and you can play .......... (wait for it) ... .... .... ........ (baited breath) .... .... ... (here we go):

* Board games like draughts, backgammon
* Sports games like pool, golf and basketball
* Puzzle games like jigsaws and word games

And you can play against others to win cash prizes. WOW!

It is still in pre-launch but worth $412 per second already.

Interesting to see that a little 'Social Marketing' add-on has appeared. Bet you can all guess what that means - monty python wrote a song all about it.
