Index.html dropped from google ?

Hi,
After several months of work my homepage was ranking 6th for my main keyphrase in the natural listings - Looking today I cannot find the page in the google index. Searching the web there appears to be talk of this happening to other sites in the last couple of days and talk of a google reindex.
Having not seen this before is this to be expected or have I fell foul of a new google update ?

Any advice or comment would be gratefully appreciated - (I know the site needs further work- I just need to get re listed as it is a busy time for bookings )

Your site has not been delisted. In fact your homepage is www.driverphotography.co.uk

If you do this search http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q...oogle +Search you will notice Google last visited (cache) on 5th Jan.

Regarding your keywords.. that is a different matter completely. I still see you ranked quite well on Google.co.uk (didn't bother to check Google.com )

Thanks - The main ranking page "Vanished for the best part of 24 hours " the reappeared by magic late last night

That does happen every now and again and I've now got used to my site disappearing every few months but I no longer panic as I know it will be back in a day or two

Yep, it's a common ocurrence now. Not sure whether there is a definitive answer to this or, as near as one gets. Been so busy, I haven't checked. Can anyone save me the time and point to one if there is one.
