Hi
I am a new comer in SEO field. Basically I am an Accountant. But due to resession I have lost my job, and now I am in this field. I have no prior experince of it, and I am scared how I will perform my daily tasks. The trainer is very nice, cooperative. But I want to know some tips how should I start the work? What are key words, how to search them and how to use.

Crikey!

If you have to ask what keywords are then SEO is not the job for you. Although it is not my full time occupation I have been working in the optimisation field for over 5 years and I'm still only scratching the surface. A friend of mine took 18 months just to carry out their initial research and another couple of years to hone thier skills.

Anyway, a good place to start would be seomoz.org. After that just google for SEO tutorials and start reading. If you can absorb information quickely you might be up to speed in a year but by then the goalposts may well have moved.

The theory is not so complicated.
Whats difficult is the practice of managing keyword buys and copy to return a good COS and constantly managing your site layout, text and content (SEO) to ensure you continue to get the best visibility in Google natural listings

Keywords - relevant terms you bid on in search engines so you ad appears on the right hand side and the top - you can test them using using keyword/adword tools provided by Google (I'd give you a link but I haven't posed enough here to be trusted with links!)

When in comes to achieving top search engine rankings how large of a role do keyword tags actually play? This is a simple question with no easy answer. Not only does the answer vary depending on which search engine a marketer is targeting, but it also depends upon the changing valuations search engines place on tags.

While there are a lot of guides and good SEO practices, it's honestly a field where there isn't a set way to go about doing things. Don't be afraid to try new things and take risks! Best of luck to you.
