Are no follow link worth less..?

I am little confused here.Google says it does not pass any value to no follow links but I have too many no follow links and my website still getting good rank.So what is truth..?

except of webmaster tools which other tools you use to check back links.?
i use backlinkwatch.com it gives information about no. of links ,anchor text , total no. of out bound links etc..

no follow links could increase the number of your backlinks,but it is not effect with your pr, and i think it is also useful for us, whatever it is do follow or nofollow,it could get us traffic.

I agree that no follow links can give us traffics.

Generally high PR sites or receiving high amount of traffics, that types of site using no follow tags.

I hear some where that yahoo count no follow link also thats why if you will check your backlinks in both then yahoo will show more backlinks than google. I am not sure but i think that can be reason.

No follow links are not worthless. They do not help your SEO but they can help in other ways. Like direct traffic

Well, basically you can't get back links from no follow links however they are helpful to increase the traffic of the website....

Nofollow links have teir own value. They are beneficial in terms of traffic generation.

Yes they worth less because they don't increase your PR but you still can get traffic from them.

Officially nofollow links will not pass linkjuice in google, however, google looks at your entire link graph, and nofollow links make it look more natural, so you can gain some trust from google. Google does not like manipulation for search engines, so when linkbuilding you need to make the linking look as natural as possible.

You have to ask yourself why you are trying to get the link in the first place?

If it's solely for the search engines then that will be the look of your linking footprint, think users and potential customers before search engines - social network sites are virtually all 'no follow links but they are becoming more and more the source of major traffic to websites - this is because they are real people seeing sites that they wish to visit.
Sure a link that passes links juice (has follow attribute) are great for the SERP's but if you think web marketing is ALL about the search engine results you will be more than likely fighting a never ending battle that you will not win.
