Re: Placement of keywords (please help) -
01-08-2008, 09:25 AM
There are few things you must consider first :-
a) Your target keyword "Learn how to play violin" is not a competitive one, therefore your chances of scoring high rankings are pretty high b) Search engines do not like artificial manipulation of their ranking technology. c) Never concentrate on your TARGETED keyword alone. Always produce wide range of keywords related to your targeted keyword. d) Make sure that your TITLE has "Learn how to play violin" e) Your description is also important, but keyword tag is often ignored by Google ( still no concrete proof). Keyword tag is still supported by Yahoo. f) If you are pretty serious about this particular keyword, then FEED PLENTY OF CONTENT to Google/Yahoo. Add more and more useful information ( no duplicate content) on regular basis ( 1/2 weeks) related to violin, and add some of your useful links on bookmarking sites. All these combined activities will help you gain higher rankings for your targeted keywords. Rather than concentrating on the keyword density you must concentrate on the produce useful content related to your targeted keyword. This will help you gain higher rankings on search engines within shortest span. |
