search engine software

I was considering trying to do some of my own search optimisation. Wondered if anyone had any views on software and whether they were worth investment - seoelite or webceo maybe or others. Grateful for any experiences and guidance

They are a useful guide but I don't think that they are any more than that especially as no-one knows what Google is currently up to.

I use Web CEO which is free but it has always told me that I use my keyword too many times despite the fact that I have been at the top of the rankings on all major search engines until the recent Google reshuffle.
