Hello,

Should we keep submitting your URL to search engines (like monthly) or just one time shot? for example, google.com, msn.com, aol.com, etc...

Thanks.

You don't have to resubmit your site repeatedly. Better yet, let the SE's find your site through your backlinks. What you need to submit is a sitemap.

If your site is already in the search engine, do not submit it again. In some search engines new sites are featured, but a resubmitted site is not new and can be pushed further back in the listings. Services that resubmit every month are not helping you. The only exception is if you have a second tier or sub domain page that can stand on it's own, with its own key words and is linked to, that's not being found, try submitting that link even if they say you don't need to.

It's actually not even worth submitting. The search engines like to discover things for themselves and would much prefer to find your site through an inbound link.

The best thing to do is read the guidelines offered by each of the search engines.

i think it's still worth submitting links to SE's directory...

it's way of link building and way of gaining organic traffic to the site

If the page your URL will be added to doesn't show up in the index, then it does you no good ranking wise. Then you have to decide if the traffic alone is worth it.

If your website is new its worth it to submit it but once you are listed on these SEs there is no point in doing it since once you are on these SEs then your website should be craweld by them automatically.

One time submitting is enough; there's no need of resubmitting the URL to the SE. Like what Katman said the spiders automatically crawls your website infos when your site is already in the SE.

Sometimes there are searches in the Google that I can’t find in Yahoo and vice versa, how’s that happen?

The algorythm for Google and Yahoo are completely different. I noticed that Google tends to crawl thru my website a few times a day looking for new content unlike yahoo which only does it twice a week thus gets updated less often.
