Who makes the best car?

Which is the best shampoo?

Where is the best hotel?

The question is subjective and your list is imcomplete.

Geez, very tight answer!!

Will someone ask it again. Google is always Google, it's the best. If you are an employee of MSN or Yahoo, maybe you'll say they are the best. hmmm

If your looking for items on the net that are not as common as a big super markets name, then it is no good even thinking of Google, it wont be on that engine, they only support large firms within the UK.
The very best search engine is Altavista because that engine allows all websites the same chance of being seen, and major firms wont always be on the first 100 pages as Google do.
The Internet was very much better before Google come along, and all old timers of the net will tell you the same too.

As a account manager managing Google, Yahoo and Msn known now as Bing ppc campaigns, I would say that for traffic it would be Google, Yahoo and then Bing.

To get the instant sales Google adwords is where to start and you can get up there with the big boys no matter how small you are.

That is not correct. In a number of countries Yahoo is the most popular search portal.
