It seems an utterly pointless form of finance to me.

The website clearly states that you must be 'creditworthy' in order to qualify for the service - if you were it would make far more sense to go to the bank, either as a personal or business customer - and that any finance provided can only be used with respect to wages and PAYE/NI. If, after 6 months, you can't afford to pay your staff (either from previous revenue, a contingency fund or an overdraft/loan you would have taken out to cover such eventualities) then your business isn't going to last long.
