Chris, you have touched on a gap in the market that at present does not want to be filled. I have tried to take the "IT Service Management" cause to small businesses via a business I am trying to move forward, but my view is that small businesses are prepared to take the risk and not contemplate "managed IT" services as they percieve it as being expensive.
How wrong they are!!! and for a little forward planning they could have a small march on their competitors.

As a long term IT contractor I can vouch for what Rob is saying, trying to get a small business to part with money is like trying to get blood from a stone. This is why 99% of my business is providing services and advice to large corporations and public sector bodies.

Whilst I do understand the financial pressures placed on small business IT is not a place you should be cutting corners.

At the very least every single business should have a backup/disaster recovery strategy.

I think you need to have more effort in doing advertisement, or some blogging, for me i use blog and ads. you can feel free to use blog site.
